Drugstore creams with clinical studies...2 that work!

Two anti-aging creams that work are
  • L'Oreal Revitalift Deep Set Wrinkle Repair
  • ROC Multi-Correxion Eye Treatment
Each has clinical studies and my anecdotal evidence to back them up.
The L'Oreal Revitalift on sale is about $15 (Walgreen's, CVS).  At that price you can use it on your chest and arms/hands like the rich women do...  I have seen big improvements in those sun-damaged areas.  It's not a luxurious Dior-type cream (no perfume), but it works.
The ROC eye cream seems to be erasing the fine wrinkles at the outside corners of my eyes...  It also seems  to be diminishing dark circles.  It is very silky, like an expensive eye cream.

HD Foundation

My sister, Vivienne, loves Makeup Forever HD Foundation from Sephora. It really does make skin look flawless.  There are about 20 shades, but somehow, I couldn't find a good one, so I ended up with cream to powder foundation from Smashbox at ULTA.

The Smashbox HD cream foundation comes in a very nice compact that goes in my purse for mess-free touchups.  I find that I hardly need to touch it up... The coverage is a bit heavier than the MF HD.  I use it on my chest and cheeks to cover freckles.  It works!

I have been trying primers, but none of them seem to make much difference... comments?

So many mascaras, so little time

Looking for input on all the new drugstore mascaras.  Any winners out there?

The drugstore concealer that thinks it is a luxury brand

The little pot of concealer that thinks it is a luxury brand- Neutrogena mineral sheers concealer- is available at CVS and Walgreen's for about $7.00.  If you use the oft-available buy one, get one (BOGO) offers on Neutrogena cosmetics, it's an even better buy.

The pot has concealer on the top and mineral powder on the bottom.  It's the concealer that is so special- It's creamy (no settling in creases) and self-highlighting.  How that works, I don't know but when you use it the area around your eyes looks like you used a concealer and a highlighter (and that's without using the powder).

The powder is a very sheer setting powder.  I don't always use it.
